The office building consists of a structural steel frame with a curtain wall and precast skin. The lobby was finished with Italian plaster walls, millwork walls, stone walls, and stone floors. The parking garage was a concrete structure with four elevators and an elaborate decorative aluminum perforated fin and split face CMU skin. |
Broadway 655, San Diego, CA A 23-story high structural steel class A office building with 2 levels of subterranean parking, the first 3 levels above-grade serve as additional parking (760 total spaces) and retail space (5,500 sf). The remaining 20 levels house Class A office space. The first office tower built in Downtown San Diego in 12 years.

 | Lucasfilm (Letterman Digital Arts Center), Presidio, San Francisco The award-winning headquarters of Lucasfilm in San Francisco’s Presidio National Park consists of 893,000 square feet of high-tech office space for one of the world’s leading film and entertainment companies. As the home of Yoda, Darth Vader, and Indiana Jones, the campus includes 3 state-of-the-art theaters, a 1,500-car parking garage beneath a landscaped park, a child daycare center, and views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Palace of Fine Arts.
Webcor’s redesign of the underground garage eliminated the need for an entire level of excavation while increasing the number of parking stalls. This design innovation saved $10 million in excavation and construction costs. To meet the project’s demanding concrete requirements, Webcor’s concrete team built an on-site batch plant and developed cutting-edge forms, allowing structural work to be completed months ahead of schedule. Webcor also used the latest virtual building tools to reduce the number of change orders, saving additional time and money.
This state-of-the-art campus is LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and is a stunning example of how a modern facility can perform while preserving the architectural style of its historic location.
